What is the Difference Between a Clean and Imperfect Tungsten Cube?

A clean tungsten cube has a shiny, mirror-like finish while an imperfect cube has a dull appearance with noticeable blemishes. The difference in their appearances is due to the way they are manufactured. Clean tungsten cubes are made using a process called CNC machining which results in a precise, perfect cube. Imperfect tungsten cubes, on the other hand, are made using a less precise method called casting.

The process of CNC machining a tungsten cube results in a clean, perfect cube because the machine is able to cut the metal with extreme precision. The process of casting an imperfect tungsten cube is less precise because the metal is poured into a mold and then cooled, resulting in a less perfect cube. The imperfections on the surface of an imperfect tungsten cube are due to the fact that the metal was not cut as precisely as it was with the CNC machining process.

Types of Blemishes On Imperfect Cubes

There are several types of blemishes that can be found on an imperfect tungsten cube. The most common blemishes are pits and bumps. Pits are small, dark spots on the surface of the cube that are caused by impurities in the metal. Bumps are raised areas on the surface of the cube that is caused by the metal not being cooled evenly.

Although imperfect tungsten cubes have blemishes on their surface, they are still made of the same material as a clean tungsten cube and have the same chemical properties. The only difference between the two types of cubes is their appearance, and the imperfections do not affect the functionality of the cube. So, whether you choose a clean tungsten cube or an imperfect tungsten cube, you will be getting the same quality product. Read more about the different types of blemishes.

What Makes Our Imperfect Tungsten Worth It

Our imperfect tungsten cubes are still incredibly useful and valuable because of their high density and durability. Even though they may not have the shiny, mirror-like finish of a clean tungsten cube, they are still an excellent choice for many different applications.

Imperfect Tungsten Cubes Useful and Valuable

Tungsten cubes come in two different varieties: clean and imperfect. Clean tungsten cubes are made using a process called CNC machining which results in a precise, perfect cube. Imperfect tungsten cubes, on the other hand, are made using a less precise method called casting. The difference between these two types of cubes is most evident in their appearance, with a clean tungsten cube having a shiny, mirror-like finish while an imperfect cube has a dull appearance with noticeable blemishes.

Even though imperfect tungsten cubes may not have the same level of perfection as their clean counterparts, they are still incredibly useful and valuable because of their high density and durability.
